About the Course

Working with aMT's certified instructors, enhance your skills and knowledge necessary for safe and effective operation of a small Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) within the Visual Line-of-Sight of the Operator required to fly an RPAS while adhering to aviation regulations, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols. Join us for our two part school and become a drone pilot!

 

Course is Self paced online with Instructor support.  (4-week time frame). In-person Field Day to be schedule based on student and schedule availability.

FAA Part 107 Testing Fee for the UAG exam at a PSI testing center is not included.

Learning Objectives

Enhance your drone piloting skills with certified instructors and master safe, effective operations while adhering to aviation regulations and safety protocols. Gain the essential aeronautical knowledge to operate drones within Visual Line-of-Sight (VLOS) and under 55 pounds. Our curriculum covers regulations, meteorology, national airspace operations, and Aeronautical Decision-Making (ADM). This course prepares you for the Unmanned Aircraft General (UAG) exam and emphasizes safety to develop responsible remote pilots.
