Please follow the 6 steps below to learn more about Salesforce and the Salesforce Administrator program which provides a tremendous starting point for a career working with organizations that use Salesforce, or similar technology platforms.
The steps below should take between 45-90 minutes in total. But you can take it at your own pace and come back later to finish up any steps you don't have time for right now.

2. Create a free Salesforce Trailhead Account
Now that you have learned a little bit about the Salesforce platform, the next step in your Salesforce journey will be to register on Trailhead.
Trailhead is Salesforce's own training platform that includes videos, step by step learning modules, and more!
Step 1:
Go to Trailhead and click "Get Started For Free" button.
Step 2:
Choose which method you would prefer to register with.
We recommend you register with an email

Finally, click "Sign Up". Congrats you are now a Trailblazer!
3. Take a Trailhead Course
Now that you are a Trailblazer...
Try out a Trailhead to get a glimpse of what it might be like to be a Salesforce Administrator.

Once you've completed the training return here and learn about the Salesforce Administrator Program and consider applying to join the next cohort!
4. Learn about the Salesforce Administrator Program
Welcome back - now that you've tried out a Trailhead, are you interested in a training program to help launch your Salesforce Career?
The Salesforce Administrator program runs part-time over 12 weeks of training. Participants should anticipate 8-10 hours of training activities each week, mostly on their own time with one live online evening class each week (which is recorded for those unable to join live).
What:
This course prepares learners for a career as a Salesforce professional, initially as a Salesforce Administrator. After completing the course trainees will be ready to take the Salesforce Administrator Certificate Exam. Trainees will learn both the required fundamentals of Salesforce and core business essentials that will enable them to hit the ground running in an entry level position.
Salesforce is the World’s #1 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and has a growing demand for trained Administrators. Entry level positions in the Salesforce ecosystem open up a wide range of tech career opportunities many of which can be pursued as remote jobs from rural Montana.
The course is delivered via a cohort model and combines weekly self-paced modules with a live online interactive class, office hours and mentorship.

This course is developed and delivered by Cognizant, Accelerate Montana, The University of Montana, and Missoula College, the organizations behind the award winning Aim Higher Program. Instructors for the course include 2 graduates of the Aim Higher Program as well as University of Montana and Missoula College Faculty.
Cost:
