ServiceNow Foundations

What is this class all about?

ServiceNow Foundations is a course that is self-paced with structured weekly engagement opportunities with course facilitators, ServiceNow professionals, and other learners to help keep you engaged and on-track. You will learn the foundations of the ServiceNow platform, specifically through the System Administrator career journey. Completing this course entails completion of the System Administrator career journey and participation in supplementary learning exercises to prepare you both for the exam and to obtain a job working with ServiceNow.

When:

We will host courses about once every quarter and start dates will depend upon minimum enrollment.

This course is self-paced over 4-12 weeks.

Structure:

The ServiceNow modules will be completed at your own pace. Office hours will be held every other week. Engagement exercises will be held each week alternating between asynchronous and synchronous. You can view the course syllabus here.

Who:

ServiceNow Foundations has been created and will be hosted by the Accelerate Montana & The Whole Group team. Facilitators for the course include Hope Scott, Holly Colbert, Kaia Schreder, and Mason Derendinger along with some guest speakers as well.

Cost:

The rate for the course is $500. We have a limited number of scholarships available for individuals from under-represented groups or who have limited financial resources. If you are accepted into the program, we will provide details on how to apply for a scholarship.

What will I need for the training?

You will need access to a functional computer and reliable internet.

Will I receive my ServiceNow System Administrator Certification from this course?

Completing the modules in this course will grant eligibility to take the Certified System Administrator exam.

Who should take this course?

Anyone interested in learning more about the ServiceNow Platform. You must be 18 years or older to participate.

How will I know when the course starts?

Since the start date is dependent upon participant interest, there is a chance the course will begin on a later date. Once you are accepted and enrolled in the course, we will communicate with you via email.

Are office hours and engagement exercises required?

No, but strongly encouraged. This program is designed for learning in all walks of life. The beauty of this course is that you get to make your own schedule. The engagement exercises will be recorded and posted on Canvas. If you have questions and are unable to attend office hours, you can also contact the instructors via Slack.
