What Is the EO-Tech
Assembly Technician Program?
The Electro-Optics Assembly Technician credential is awarded to participants who complete a comprehensive program in electronics and optics manufacturing. Credential earners receive over 10 hours of in-person instruction and mentorship from an industry expert. By working on a real-world assembly project (a remote-controlled rover), participants demonstrate proficiency in personal and material safety, soldering, troubleshooting, quality management, and related lab skills. Employers can trust that earners of this credential possess the foundational knowledge and hands-on abilities essential to excel in electronics and optical assembly roles.
