Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
FVCC offers a Nurse’s Aide Training course that enables students to obtain a Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) Certificate in 105 hours: NRSG 106 Nursing Assistant Course.
Through hands-on clinical training, the intensive course teaches students the skills and applications required to address the needs of chronically-ill patients in long-term care facilities. Students also gain understanding of basic medical terminology, basic human anatomy and physiology, and the aging process.
Before enrolling in this course, students must get a background check and several immunizations.

Location: There are two course options. Option 1 meets on Wednesdays from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at FVCC Kalispell campus. Clinical shift times will be arranged with the Montana Veteran's Home in Columbia Falls. Section 2 meets Mondays from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at FVCC Kalispell campus. In addition, there will be some material online. Clinical shift times will be arranged with Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell.
